Are there other ways I can learn more about dancing?

Absolutely! Dancing may become a new or continuing passion for you, and we would like to assure you that our organization is your biggest advocate and resource center.

The Rutgers Recreation department also offers continuous ballroom, ethnic, and other dance instruction each semester.  We encourage you to visit their website for more information.

Also, the Mason Gross School of the Arts has an extension program that offers a modern dance curriculum.  Please view their website for more information.

Below you will find links to areas which are associations and organizers of competitive and social dancing:

National Dance Council of America:   ia an united inter-association agency representing the interests of those in the dance profession and other dance-related entities and organizations.

USA Dance Association:   is an affiliate member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and is recognized by the USOC, the International DanceSport Federation (IDSF), and the United States Congress as the National Governing Body of DanceSport in the United States.

USA Dance NJ Chapter:  Serves the area of Hudson, Union, Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Warren, Morris & Sussex

USA Dance Greater NY Chapter: Serves the area of metro NYC, the 5 boroughs of NYC, Westchester & Long Island

USA Dance Delaware Valley PA Chapter:  Serves the areas including Philadelphia as hub & surrounding areas in South East PA, Northern DE & NJ counties - Burlington, Salem, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Cape May & Atlantic

As your resource center, we welcome any questions you have regarding your dancing goals.  Please feel free to talk to an officer regarding your goals and passions about dancing, and we will do our best to help you.
