Trust is an important part of the service that we provide to our constituency. We make every effort to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. Below are some of the steps we take.
User Information
During mailing list or event mailing list registration we require that you supply personal information like your name, affiliation, and e-mail address. With your permission, we may send you an e-mail announcement regarding activity and programming of our organization, in addition to sending you e-mails to upcoming events. You may unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of each email. We will try our best to keep the emails to once a month, however, frequency may change at any time.
Sharing Information
The Rutgers DanceSport Alumni Club has a strict policy against sharing or selling your personal information, except when the law requires it.
Links to Other Sites
This site may contain links to other Web sites, including corporate businesses, dance sites, dance studios, clubs, other organizations, etc. The Rutgers DanceSport Alumni Club is not responsible for the contents of these third-party websites, or their privacy and practices on these sites.
Security
The ticket center uses Google's Merchant Center. Payments processed by the Google merchant center has SSL technology which allows encryption of data on payment, and other pages where personal information is collected. Look for the "lock" icon in your browser that indicates when you are in secure mode.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data that web sites send to your computer, which are stored in files on your hard drive. We use cookies to collect general information, on an anonymous basis, about how this site is used. This general information may be used for marketing and/or research purposes and may be shared by us with our affiliates and unaffiliated parties. If you participate in online surveys presented on this site, cookies may be used to ensure that you provide only one response to a given survey. Cookies may also be used to prevent you from receiving multiple requests to respond to the same survey.
Notification of Changes
The Rutgers DanceSport Alumni Club will post all changes in this privacy policy that affect your personal information, 30 days prior to the date the change goes into effect.
